어떤 drug-selection marker를 사용해야 하나요?
VectorBuilder는 puromycin (Puro), neomycin (Neo), hygromycin B (Hygro) 및 blasticidin (Bsd) 등 다양한 drug-selection marker를 제공합니다. 일반적으로 puromycin이 다른 항생제보다 더 빠르고 한결같이 non-resistant cells을 죽이는 것으로 알려졌습니다. 이러한 이유로 당사는 대부분의 세포 타입에 대해 Puro를 추천합니다. 그러나 일부 세포 타입은 resistance gene 없이도 특정 항생제에 어느 정도 내성이 있거나, resistance gene이 있어도 특정 항생제에 민감하게 반응하는 경우도 있습니다. 이와 같은 세포들은 최적의 마커를 찾기 위해 다양한 drug-selection markers에 대한 테스트가 필요합니다.

Note:
a. Geneticin (G418) is used to select for cells expressing neomycin resistance gene.
